What does eSentry do with my contacts?

eSentry does not keep any visitor contact information you obtain from your visitor sign-ins. All contact information is deleted after 30 days.

Are all Open House visitors, agents and their clients required to sign-in?

eSentry is intended to be a fast, efficient and easy-to-use digital sign-in resource for you and your client. How you choose to enforce it is your choice.

What if someone doesn't want to sign-in or they have their own privacy
concerns about their contact information?

It’s up to you and your client to determine whether or not to require people to sign in. Our privacy policy is clear that we do not use their information for any purpose but signing in.

Is this a good way to help ensure my own and my client's personal safety
and security?

Obtaining contact information and knowing who enters your client’s home should help prevent unwanted visitors from entering. 

How do I know when someone has signed in?

We send instant pop-up notification to your own mobile device with the name of the visitor.


How do I download the visitor contact information of those who've signed-in?

You will receive a vCard file of each visitor who signs in that you can save to your contacts. You will also have the ability to download a complete list of visitors and their contact information in a CSV file, and save it to your contacts or CRM. (Premium Feature)

Can I contact the people who've signed-in?

What you do with the contact information is up to you. eSentry was developed to provide you with a fast, efficient, and easy-to-use digital record of who enters your client’s home. Having the visitor data to share with your sellers provides you with valuable information for follow-up and marketing purposes, and unrepresented prospective visitors turn into valuable Buyer and Seller leads you otherwise might not have obtained contact information from. 

What do I do with all of the visitor information I've obtained?

  • Share the statistics with your sellers.

  • Reach out to prospective buyers and agents to obtain useful feedback and interest in your client’s home.

  • Follow-up with visitors as potential Buyer or Seller leads.

Is there a free trial period?

Yes! There is both a 14-day free trial period for the “Standard” version, and the “Basic” version is free!

How am I charged for my subscription?

All subscription payments are currently managed by Apple, we never have access to your credit card or other payment methods.

Can I get a refund after downloading and using the App?

The is no charge for the free version.

What is your cancellation policy?

Subscriptions can be canceled at any time and the cancellation will take place at the end of the current subscription period. Note that you can continue to use the free version.

How do I get installation support?

The app is designed to be incredibly simple, we are always happy to help, our help articles are at our help center and you can contact support from there.

Will I get free support and updates?

Yes, we are continuously updating our apps and updates are free with the subscription.
